2025 Grant Applications Are Now Open

Is your nonprofit looking for ways to enhance the village of Altamont through historic preservation or the development of recreational spaces? Do you need funds to help host an event designed to strengthen the community? Altamont Community Tradition can help. Funded by event revenues, sponsorships, and other generous gifts, these small grants (up to $500) are donated to projects of local non-profit organizations that align with ACT’s mission of historic preservation and/or strengthening the village community through engaging activities.

Congratulations to our 2025 grant recipients

Altamont Elementary School PTA for the purchase of reusable bingo cards for student/family bingo nights.

Historic Altamont, Inc. for the purchase of promotional materials for the grand opening of the Long Path Trail kiosk in the village.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, funds towards the purchase of a custom door latch/panic bar for the church Sanctuary doors.

Our 2025 funding cycle is closed. The next Call for Proposals will take place on April 1, 2026.
